Hellwig helper springs
What do you guys think of these. It says they are rated for 1500 lbs. I've had procomp aal's in the past and they worked out ok. Is Hellwig a good brand? Does it look like they might be more heavy duty than the procomp aal's?
What about these skyjacker AAL's for $100? Are they better quality than the pro comp's?

I have run hellwigs on both my 95 tacoma 4cyl and now on my 2004 v6. I personally love them. I can put a pretty serious load in the back and it stays pretty level. They can are easy to put on cause they sit right on top of the leaf unlike aal's. They can be adjusted to give more or less lift. They will harshen your ride some depending on how much you tighten them up though.

Hellwig helper springs are normally a good solution for load support. Very easy to install compared to a standard add a leaf because you don't have to take the spring apart. As the previous poster acknowledged the ride can get slightly stiffer with their helper springs for your toyota but you can adjust that with the torque of the u-bolts. For most full size pickups they do offer progressive model springs that will adjust with your load.
There are some other alternatives like a timbren kit or air bags if you are more concerned with the ride while unloaded.
