Hello
Hey guys. New to this forum but not new to Toyota's. I currently have a 1986 FJ 60. In the past I've had a 1985 2wd truck. 2 1994 4X4 trucks extra cab. One was 22RE and the other V6. I had a 1991 Landcruiser. Then a 1989 Landcruiser and now the 86 FJ 60. And for 3 years I owned a 2007 FJ cruiser. I am currently interested in getting a 1st gen 4Runner. So my search begins here. I have to get my 15 posts out of the way so lets talk.

Thanks
Thanks Wabbit! I have been looking in the classifieds. I think I'm gonna try and trade my FJ 60 for a 4Runner. I want to get a pretty much stock with a 22RE and a 5spd.

Oh yeah:
I just bought a 1985 Toyota Granville RV with a 22RE and auto. I have been researching a regear. From what I have read here and on the RV forum I am looking for a G144 thrid from a early 90's 4Runner. the Toyota RV's are slow pigs with all of that added weight. Anyone on here done this?

Well guys I know I'm new and kinda off topic here but I am looking to get into a 4Runner and I was hoping someone here would at least have something to say. I am a member at IH8MUD and some other forums. So I'm looking to get a 22RE runner with a 5spd. More than likely an IFS model but I am open to the solid axle if the price is right. I'm ok with slight mods but nothing crazy. I see some in the classifieds that are interesting but I cannot post in there yet. Also with my new RV I'm looking for a third with 4.88 gears. G144 axle code.

THE best mods for offroad are locking diffs & good TIRES. Those items alone will take you anywhere you have the clearance to meet. Throw in MCs transfer case & you have a giant killer.
I recommend MarlinCrawler for all.

Hey I am also new here, but also new to Toyotas, and 4x4s in general. I just picked up a 86 4x4 for $1000. I can't wait to fix it up but not sure what direction to go with it.
