headgasket...FOR SURE

ok so the head gasket finally went on our '86 ext cab 22R 4x4 pickup...before we start tearing into it...we're going to price all its gonna cost...so if anybody can point me in the direction of a NEW head...for cheap...that isnt going to up anytime soon...i'd be a lil more happy...sorry about the language..just a little ticked off that my dad didnt listen to me when i said that the headgasket will blow if i drive it any longer..and he said...o well drive it anyway...if it blows we'll fix it...so i said ok...and it finally went..and now hes pissed...so o well...thanks for the info guys

whats wrong with the head on the truck now? if its warped just take it to a machine shop and get them to shave it, i think it cost my buddy $80 at the most for his 22re head... but for a new head they have them on ebay pretty cheap

Yeah dude, just get the head milled. You could probably bump the compression up a little in the process. And go to http://www.engnbldr.com/ fot the parts.
