hacked wire harness
So i have a 86 pick up with a 93 22re.
The most recent "bug" ive ran into is my local exhaust guy, Junction City Muffler, said i should be running an o2 sense my trucks running really rich and lacks power when i get on it.
im running a headman header and full flow exhaust with a 40 series.
i tried to get a o2 for the 86 and i got a 1 wire...well the o2 plug has 4 wires
white/red
pink/green
black
brown
so i got one for a 93 and it was $103 but it doesn't fit and the wires are blue black black white.
any advice would help and don't say read cause i have.

Thanks but that didn't really help. What O2 sensor goes to the white/red pink/green black brown plug? There isn't and exaisting sensor seeings how it has a header and exhaust I didn't think a o2 would matter well it does then I traced the wires down.

OX (black wire) is the oxygen sensor signal E1(brown wire) is ground. The other two wire are the heater circuit white with red stripe is positive and pink with green stripe is negative.

Thats your 93 with four wires. Make sure it fits it has a guide to make sure. And a picture to show how many wires. I would look up your make sure that the original part numbers for your sensor match up

Have heard bad things about the Bosch, get a denso. When I was searching through the thousands of o2 threads kept reading our trucks don't like something about them

I agree the problem with the bosch is it's tip is not as long as the denso so it doesn't get in the exhaust flow as well. Some people run them without problems but alot of people have had check engine light problems with them.
