H3 xenon bulbs, 55w vs. 100w

Please forgive me, I know this isnt the correct section but I cant make a post in the "electrical" area so im throwing it here.

I installed some Hella 700ffs the other day, I have 2 relays for them, 1 for each light so I could use a bigger bulb (100w). Well after searching around all I found were some 55w xenon bulbs, so I threw those in and called it good.

So my question, if I find/get some 100w xenon bulbs will it be a huge difference in brightness and is it worth it? I can still return the bulbs I bought and order some 100watters off the web so thats not a prob.

you really don't need 2 relays just one will be fine and some good 12-14ga wire is plenty heres what a 55w vs 100w just get the normal clear type as you can see the 100w bulbs are gonna be brighter

55W 1450 Lumens
100W 2200 Lumens

Well Ive been told you get brighter lights with 2 relays because it allowes the maxium power to hit the lights.

Elton did you have 100w bulbs in your 500s and 700s?

I was going to take a pic like that but my camera was dead. Theres a huge difference with these 2 bulbs.

When i had 1 55 and 1 100 in, you could feel the heat coming off the 100. The 55 was putting out heat but not as much as the 100. At night its a big difference, i can see so much further now.

I am going to miss how my lights were blue in the day time but these basic $4 100w bulbs are better then the ones that are $7 a piece.
