grease charger attachment for 87 4runner?
Hi folks, newbie here with a question. I got a 87 4runner a couple of weeks ago and i have been giving it some much needed attention. New belts, hoses, water pump oil and filter change. I started chassis lubrication with the steering knuckles this weekend, then moved to u-joints,sliding yokes, cardan joint and that is where the trouble started. I have a 1/8 coupler on grease gun and it does not fit any grease fittings for u-joints,yolks or cardan joint. I checked my haynes manual and it has a note that says for driveshaft u-joints,use grease charger attachment included with vehicle tool kit. WHAT IS THIS!!! Does anyone know, please help. I have checked at six stores and can only find 1/8 couplers. Owners manual says nothing but type of grease. thanks for any help!

I just greased up my 87's CV's & Cardians last weekend.
No problem getting the gun on...
You know, you can loosen ( un screw ) the end of grease gun nozzle and it will go on easier...
I have to do this with some of my zerk fittings, others I don't have to do a thing.
Grease 'er up!

Thanks topdown4runner, will give it a go as you say! Still curious, has anyone heard of the grease charger attachment? Hope to grease 'er up in couple of days. Got to go to work in few hours, [night owl]. Also hope to post some pics, she's already had a fresh coat of paint, just needs some luving inside, underneath and some prep for off road. Only 166,876 miles and ready to crawl!! Hate my in-laws got a divorce, but i got a 87toyrunner. Thanks again!!
