going through oil and antifreeze
so i bought this truck supposedly only having 60 000kms on the motor(22r). and had nothing but trouple with it. it was smoking on start up when it was cold kinda cloudy and white and smelt different mayby like antifreeze. and i've been going through a bit of antfreeze. then one morning i started it and it was blue smoke. always seems to go away when it warms up. so its going through a good amount of oil and antifreeze. i'm guessing the motor is toast but where could the antifreeze be going? there no water in the oil. could it still be the head gasket?

yup still head gasket, wouldent say the motors toast just replace HG and go on, it depends on where the HG broke for it to end up in the oil or just in the cylinder...or both
edit: oh yeah didint quit answer ur question, its going threw the tailpipe, or being burnt up cuz its leaking into the cylinder..then when it heats up the head swells and seals the gasket temporarily ...hope this helps
