Gears, Lockers, Prices...
Hey I got a few questions. I will be running 36" Tires with a 22R Manual Tranny so I would want to gear at 5.29 Correct?
Whats a good price on yukon 5.29's? I found them local in a suspension shop for $159.99 + Tax Each...
I also found Aussie Lockers for $249.99 and Locrights for $239.99 Each.
So I want to get...
(2) 5.29 Sets $159.99 Each
(2) Kits (Gaskets)
(2) Aussie Lockers $249.99 Each..
Any suggestions? I will be installing them myself with a friend who owns a rear end shop A.K.A. Free install
I am open to hear all opinions.

Yeah I just want to make sure these gear prices are good. I honestly have never bought gears before.
I think it would be smarter to do lockers and gears all at once. Saves me from having to open up the diffs 2 diffrent times.

Depends on what you are using the truck for IMHO. I have a 4runner that is strictly offroad, with the occasional drive onroad (its street legal). I also have a dual case, so there is no reason to regear the diffs to a weaker 5.29 (and yes, people will debate to a bloody end whether the 5.29 is weaker or not). I run a spool, and the trans has all the gears the truck needs.

IMO, I would do the 5.29's and the price sounds pretty good as marlin crawler is listing them for $195 http://www.marlincrawler.com/htm/dif...diff.htm#gears

Yes they do...
Well I will use it for more DD than offroad but I will be wheeling on the weekends (Playing in the mud) I am in florida so no rock climbing for me just the hunting trails which consist of mud, more mud and more mud lol.
I am open to suggestions but I know my stock gears are not good for my big tires. I need something to maintain decent gas milage but still have power when I need it.
