Gearing/Rpm question
Hi guys I have myself a 90 22r 4 speed. What kind of rpms am I pulling around 80mph? I don't have a rpm gauge. Also i heard the 4spds have 8" rears? Ive worked this truck at 90mph for 2 hours straight without a hiccup. Let me know. Thanks

you're pretty new here so I want to clarify that I'm not trying to be mean or rude. But you guys need to start searching for your own stuff. Google knows everything.
I did a google search for rpm calculator and found many different options. You'll need to enter the final drive ratio of your transmission, your tire size, rear end gearing. Just fill in the blanks.
You can find most of that info here http://www.4x4wire.com/toyota/faq/parts/
Put that link in your favorites, you'll be looking at it lots.

wow thank you so much!!! I had no idea how to use google! This question is for people with a 4 speed and an rpm gauge so I can get an idea of my rpms at certain speeds. I don't need you to tell me to google things. Say some more stupid ˟˟˟˟ and things are going to get hairy, ey

Hey. Don't be a jerk when YOU are asking stupid questions.
Every person here could give you a different answer depending on what gears are in the rear end.
Use the calculator and figure out what applies to YOUR truck. How do WE know what gears you have, a$$hat?
And if you don't know how to figure out your gear ratio, you know where to look.
