gas mileage
i have a 92 4runner that runs pretty cherry. about 260000 miles on her. i just re balanced my rear drive shaft and replaced u joints. but i have been noticing that lately my gas mileage has been going down. im going to get a new filter (K&N) and i was also planning on cleaning/replacing my PCV valve because i heard that helps. what else do you guys suggest i do to improve my gas mileage?

They let a lot more stuff through than an OEM style.

lo323 isn't exactly helping us by giving any numbers, so it's kinda tough to see what he's seeing

clean the KnN, mine is just fine...
big thing to do tho, is to make sure that the cap/rotor/plugs/wires are all in good working condition... i replace mine about every 30-40K miles...
like abe said, step lightly, and clean out your stock intake tube and throttle body... im sure theres build up there...
