Gas Gauge Acting up

other than that the guage hovers in a spot forever and then drops 1/4 tank is 2 miles or so. with 200xxx mile son it, could the sending unit just be gunked up?

mine does that too... damn dropping the tank isnt fun! it doesnt do it bad, i mean it still sends accurately, but it takes a little longer for it to drop than it used to.

Fuel Gauge
Thread from the past , fi you are going up and down steep hills thats normal , very slow moving dash gauge could be poor signal/voltage from sending unit as a result of the sending unit or wiring connector at tank dirty/bad connection , also could be dash gauge but I would say that is going to be fairly rare but have seen before so is a possiblity
