gapless spark plugs?

Is it ok to use this type of spark plug, the ones that you do not need to gap in 1991 22RE engine?

Not sure what plug you are talking about. All plugs should be gapped even if preset. They can get jolted while shipping. Dealer is reasonable on their prices for plugs and would suggest getting the factory ones.

My plugs are good. Gapping is easy. Just curious about what others think. Here is the link.

Don't waste your money. These engines were designed to use a single electrode plug and run good with them.

All spark plugs have a gap. The plug you linked above is "pre-set" by the factory as they make sure you know in the ad no less than three times:
  • Electrode gap is factory set to provide ease of installation - never requires adjustment
  • Never requires gapping, the electrode gap is factory-set and never requires adjustment
  • Provides ease of installation - never requires adjustment
In all honesty, I've never seen the value in these fancy (and expensive) type plugs when the NGK or Denso plugs of the correct specification at about 1/2 the price do just fine.
