front spindle question
I searched the forums first for part number cross reference and found nothing... Here's my question I have a 1994 2WD, and I'm looking for a set of stock front spindles. Will the spindles from a 1987 2wd work ? From what I can find here it's the same part #:

are you positive? 2wd now...
I'm pretty sure 4wd's are, but I have no knowledge about the 2wd
the brake caliper mounting holes look a little further apart on the pics of a 94 spindle, maybe because of a brake upgrade? I dunno...

Toyota has different part numbers for the spindles through the years.
However, they use the same size brake rotor and caliper from 84-95, assuming you match 4cyl base to 4cyl base. The DLX and SR5 models use larger brakes than their predecessors.

that's what I meant, 2wd spindles from 84-95 should be the same.
from what I've gathered, even the 1 ton 2wd uses the same spindle, just different hubs / brakes
I may be wrong though.
