Front IFS third member swap question.

I am swaping in 488 third members. The rear is done.

I plan on swapping my front out this weekend. The rear was a pain in the ass since a stud stripped out. I had to hacksaw it and drill and tap it. All the rest of the studs came out when I unbolted it so I eliminated them by running bolts from the inside out. Hopefully the front will go better...

My question is should I be removing the front with the vehicle jacked up or is it easier to do it setting on the tires?

In this write up he seems to be doing it without the truck jacked up.

Also is there anything else I should be replacing while I am doing this?
