Fresh 92' 22re Wont Start. WEIRD.

Okay, it had 204k on it, decided to machine the block. Then I bought a complete head from LC (Street); put everything together. So now it just spins over, it has spark; Its getting gas from the main line; I checked my dizzy several times, and the mechanical timing on the cam (dot to dot). Put the dizzy on @ TDC #I've checked all my grounds. The only part I've had trouble is the wiring harness; but I referenced the forums from my phone and got everything plugged up correctly. I'll have pics up; but I need IMMEDIATE help. I don't know much about these engines; especially the vacuum lines. For example: WHAT IN THE HECK IS THE "GAS F." or at least thats what its called under the hood on the diagram. Please Help. Plus on occasion there is a backfire like phenomenon (lol) coming from the intake.

Your timing is off..

Only a 22r gets the dizzy inserted at 0* or TDC. You need to insert the Dizzy at 5* BTDC on the COMPRESSION stroke.

Okay, so since I set my cam gear and crank pulley dot to dot, im confused on this. Should I spin the crank 180? or spin the dizzy 180? (LOL redundant)Please elaborate on here. I never dealt with this; <3 Chevy. Plus I moved my cam up, from the factory .280 I believe, to a .440.
