Flowmaster 50-series

Does anyone have the flowmaster 50 series on their 22-re? Im putting mine in tomorrow with my LCE Header and im wondering how the sound is. I didnt want it to give me a blinding headache like i thought the 40. might but i was also looking for a decent rumble or whatever you want to call it.

i have a 50 on mine but with a stock manifold. its not loud at all. it has a nice low rumble to it in the lower RPMS but it does get kind of tingy up high (4000+ rpms) but sounds pretty good. i actually wish it was a little louder but, not enough for me to justify changing it out anytime soon for something else.

If you already bought it why do you need to know what it sounds like?

if wheeling your rig you will loss power from the 50 series and the 40 series because they open up your upper end and you loss lower end power which you nomally need in wheeling horse power is good but torqe is better if going for sound very good choice run 2.5 inc pipe

i have a single in dual out 40 on my 22re with a stock manifold. it gets loud into the higher rpm range. i like it though and it's a trail only truck.

Single in, 2.25-inch stright pipe, no cat. With the carb it has a nice tone, not too loud. I still have the stock manifold, looking in to a header in the future. Parts for swaping my gears are starting to come in the Big Brown Truck.

love mine. what's nice is the lack of constant heavy drone at highway speeds.
