Finally finished my head gasket job!

Thanks Ted at Engnbldr for good products and service. I put in a torquer cam while I was in there. I got it all buttoned up and drove it all over town and it runs great. I'm happy to have my truck back.

Things to remember if you're going to do this:

If you're pressure testing the cylinders, keep your hands safe. The pressure will turn the motor over. I broke my pinky and lost my fingernail cause the motor turned over and I got it caught in the belt. That was a while ago and it's healing up fine.

keep your healy-coil kit handy. many threads stripped out on my head even though I was torquing everything to FSM specs. 4 out of 6 of the cam bolts stripped and a few of the intake manifold bolts, but I had a drill press so I just fixed them as they stripped.

Replace your fuel filter while everything is off. It's easy that way.

The wires that connect to the top need to come out between the head and the fuel rail. I had to take the fuel rail off and put the wires there so they would reach their plugs.

Toyota gave me some plugs off an old harness to replace the ones that broke. I spliced them on with lots of extra wire so I don't have to tug on them so much in the future.

There is lots of expertise here. You guys help me keep my truck alive.
