Fan Constantly Running
Alight, couldn't find anything to help me out. Rad fan is always on. It runs fast on start up then slows down and usually turns off. Now it always stays on after it slows down. I guess it could be the fab clutch? Or coolant temp sensor? Or the cooling fan relay (which I cannot locate). With it being -30C it should shut off! Anyone have any info on what could cause the problem?? V6 engine.

A clutch fan always turns when the engine is running… weather if it's turning the same speed as the motor or not would depend on the temperature.

When the truck is off, it turns off. But it never used to run constantly in he summer, and now it is, just started happening within the last 2 weeks. Unless I never noticed it before

With the engine off, see if you can wiggle the fan front to back, and see if it looks like oil on the shaft just behind the fan clutch or in the front. If so you need a fan clutch. And the fan should never be stopped with the engine running on pulley driven fans.

I checked movement and no oil. Its always supposed to be on? I never noticed it before. Maybe because the bearings are going and I can hear it now haha

Yes, when you first start the engine the fan should turn fast, slow down but not stop after a few seconds, and speed up again when the thermo coil on the front of the fan clutch senses the temp is getting high. At first I thought you were talking about an electric radiator fan, that's a whole different system.
