Okay guys, I would love to call this a build thread, but I can't because it is all just in the planning stages at this time.

I want to take a 2RZFE or a 3RZFE and put it into my 87 4 Runner.

I want to do this just because I want to.

What I have gathered so far.

1. I need a motor and wiring and ECU out of a 95-04 2 Wheel Drive Tacoma for a 2RZFE or I need a motor and wiring and ECU out of a 95-04 4 Wheel Drive Tacoma or a 96-00 4Runner for a 3RZFE

2. I need a W59 bell housing. Hopefully I can find one when I get the motor.

3. A lot of wire, so that I can re wire the entire truck.

4. The obvious stuff such as fuel tank and pump, etc.

I dont have to pass emission with this truck anymore, so I dont have to worry about any of that stuff.

ANYTHING else that I am missing? Any other info that you guys have?

I didnt find to much information except for a link to marlin crawlers website for a bell housing or adapter or something. BUT that link doesnt work anymore, so I am assuming there wasnt enough interest and Marlin canned the product.
