engine help

have a 1993 truck 22re, 185,000 miles, compression starting from the front cylinder working back is 150, 145, 160, 145, my brother says its not bad, a friend says he would rebuild, the truck leaks oil bad, so get a new engine or just replace all seals, any help would be great, Dave

compression's not bad... not good, but not bad.
where's the oil leaks at? The front crank seal isn't too hard to do, the rear means pulling the trans. valve cover gasket is real easy to do.

Adjust your valves and recheck compression. Valves that are too tight or too loose have a very big effect on compression readings.
