emergency fuel cut off switch?

Checked for voltage at the connector for the fuel pump. 9.97 volts. But I was trying to see if it would start earlier so I'm sure that ran the battery down some.

No Toyotas have them? No pre-96 4WD Toyotas that I know of(haven't we established that too many times to count now?). But some Toyotas actually do.
Please read at the bottom where it says Toyota Motor Sales. So maybe you not delete it this time. Since it is accurate...IN REALITY.

I'm not sure if you missed it... But it doesn't have one. Yesterday however, I did find one of the wires that goes to the fuel pressure regulator switching valve was broken off. Which could be why it would start.

yeah sorry i did miss it.. But deathcougar's right. Even without the regulator itll run. just flood out though. That cant be your problem. You probably put a good knock into something which put it outta whack. I might have missed this too, but check if your fuel pump is working (first of all) then work forward from there...

Did you try checking the fuel pressure?? Because everything can be working fine and flowing, but if the pressure is too low in the car wont start. If its pressure is good, then the only onther thing is maybe the injectors?? but its almost impossible for that to be the problem...... if youre SURE that youre getting spark, then im pretty lost man... My 86 has been giving me problems too these last 2 days with cutting out, then after pulling the coil wire and testing it on a ground and making sure it sparks, ill plug it back in and itll go again..

Your truck (and just about any other motor vehicle) is designed to shut off the fuel pump when the engine stops sucking air (in this case, through a switch in the Vane Air Flow meter, which works the Circuit Opening Relay to power the pump).
Why? If you have an accident that breaks a fuel line, the VAF will shut off the fuel for you. With your suggested setup, you will be completely soaked in warm gasoline long before you can get to your switch.
So there won't be any problem with it as long as you're not too attached to your skin.
But if you like your skin, just get out your multimeter and FSM to find and fix the problem. It won't be that hard.

3) Tell us your problem, and what you've done already.
