OK, went out to try the brakes one more time and just like that they worked! I bled them again anyway, got some more air out, but man that works like a charm, can't wait to get the proportioning valve installed. Know of any automotive store that sells conversion nipples from NPT to Metric in 3/16"? I don't have a tool for manufacturing brake ends, so I have to use premade lines and adapters.

I was looking around the local juck yard this weekend and I came across an 86 2wd truck that had a portioning valve under the master cyclinder I was wondering can this be installed on a 1988 4wd truck here is a pic of what is looks like did not take pic of bracket but it has toyota stamped on it

I took mine out and replaced all the lines with lines from a nonabs truck.

I have the Summit proportioning valve, but its wide open so I am not sure that its doing anything meaningful. Maybe I will need it more when i convert to discs this summer
