Dropped bolt in thermostat coolant passage

Hey everyone. I dropped a bolt in the coolant passage from the thermostat housing on the intake. I'm going to try to reach it with a snake magnetic tool, but if I can't get it out, can this bolt ever make it to the water pump if I just leave it be? The bolt size is M8

Thanks

Get it outta there! Not worth it maybe ending up in the water pump. You can get a magnet on a springy stick for less than $5.
