I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with trying to lower the carrier bearing, to get more out of a factory driveshaft, just dont want to spend an extra 3 or 4 hundred buck if i dont have to.

I don't know how far you can drop it without significantly misaligning the carrier. Try to keep the shaft pointed at the tcase.

I had to raise mine after I put on dual cases to reduce the angle a little. I flipped the bearing to the top of the bracket and used some washers. It's covered here on pages 11 & 12: https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f160...5/index11.html
