Driveline Vibration Problem
Hello, I drive a 1991 single cab pickup 4x4, 5 speed with 22re, all stock. I've had a vibration in the driveline for a few months now and it really wasn't bad, so naturally I put if off for too long and its now its all of the sudden really bad. The truck starts to vibrates at around 40-45 mph, it starts gradually and lessons around 50-55 mph before getting pretty severe at 63-70 mph. It evens out between 70-75 before getting VERY severe upwards of 80 mph. But now the other issue that became present is on my way to work i was in 5th gear and the truck was just gradually slowing down no matter how far i pushed the gas pedal, so I downshifted to 4th which was enough to keep it at 55mph all the way to work yet the rpms would not increase enough to go much faster than 55mph. When I came to a stop the truck idled so low it almost shut off yet when I put the a/c on the rpms still jump up a bit. It hesitated when I was taking off. The vibration use to only be there when I was accelerating, it would stop when I push the clutch in to coast, and when I go put the truck in neutral, but on my way to work I felt it most of the time. Now do I need to check more than my u-joints, driveshaft and gears, did waiting so long bust something else up to cause the truck to run so rough?

You need to check your u-joints, now!! If one lets go at 70 mph you risk pretty severe damage to the underside of your truck and to your drive line, and if it causes loss of control, possible injury or worse. You definitely should not be running it up to 80 mph just to see where it starts and stops vibrating.
The engine hesitation is likely not directly related to the vibration problem, but may have been caused by driving too much with the vibration present. Could have broken a wire to a sensor, or something similar. Hard to say until you diagnose it further.
But get the drive train vibration fixed ASAP, before something goes really wrong. Most likely cause is a bad u-joint.

That's what I'm thinking its the u-joint, but with work and all I dont have much time so I dropped it off at a shop (who's done a lot of work for me) and told the guy to check all that. Thank you for your input and help!

One way to diagnose bad rear ujoints is to take 10 minutes and undo the 8 bolts that hold in the rear drive shaft, remove d/s and drive the truck in 4wd for a short time...
You got lucky you didn't loose your rear d/s at the speeds you were driving. A guy in a company van I used to work for lost the rear d/s at 55..it took out the transmission and other stuff..they wrote off the van. Colateral damage could be having a yoke go through a winshield.
heck it was bad enough when I lost my rear shaft st 30-35...

Alright so I had the vibration fixed guy told me the yoke was shot and I drove it and its all gone but the hesitation problem is still present. Now I did a tune up plugs, wires, cap, rotor and air filter. It drives much better than before but it still isn't getting full power the less gas I give the better it picks up the farther I push the pedal the less it does now could this be a result of the fuel filter that I have no idea how old it is and I did have my lines fixed because they rusted through and were shot so there is probably a nice build up of ˟˟˟˟. Fuel filter sound like the next step to take??
