Driveline Bind in Reverse

Driveline Bind in Reverse
I am not a newbie, just have a stupid question.....
I have a new to me 4Runner. 1988 v6 5spd. All stock, as far as I know....
Here is my question......
When in reverse, the driveline wants to bind if I try to turn in 4wd. The truck has auto hubs and BFG all terains.....
Also, if I go in reverse for more than about 5-10 feet, I get a clunk in the drivetrain when I go back to forward. I can eliminate it by going into 4wd for a few feet and back out again, and then all is fine.
I am pointing towards bad auto hubs. I have a set of manuals to put on, just would like to know before I do the work...
Anyone ever come across this before???

Boy, you all are bunch of help...... I guess if it is more then 2 or three years old you aren't interested... Sorry for trying to ask a real tech question....
Turns out it was a bad auto hub.. So those went in the trash and I installed a set of manual hubs.. Now all is well and I can return to Pirate where the real tech hangs out......

Because they probably laughed his ass right off the website for having IFS to begin with, and probably made fun of him for asking regular maintenance questions on a hard core rockcrawling website.

Heaven forbid people have something more pressing to do on a Saturday night / Sunday morning than help a whiner.

You can't provide any tech, so the best you can do is rag on someone....
I didn't ask over there because I was asking a simple question, and yes I still have IFS on this truck, and I thought I would get a better reply over here.....
Suck of and piss on your selves.. I have been a member on Pirate since day one and long before SAS's were even being done....
So until you can say that and are done asking what size tires fit my 2008 runner with out a lift .......... Blow me

You may not have said it but you agreed and your join date is only a month ago, so go bury your head in the sand and lurk for a while until you have something useful to add. Next time I have a question about 2" spacers, seat swaps (Ha Ha), ac not working, melting fuses, or sagging rears... I will be back.......

I'm wondering why you're so pissed of about not getting a timely response about what you yourself said was a stupid question... which you figured out yourself. So, instead of acknowledging that MAYBE no one was here to answer your stupid question, you get pissed.
Did your mama breastfeed you into your teens or something?
and pedantic is also a synonym for 'unimaginative'... so look it up. You're obviously also not familiar with hyperbole.

Are you above describing how you found your problem?
Not that I feel you're up to helping anyone else out that may find themselves in your position, but in the rare chance you are...?

Nevermind, I should've known better than to ask. You have 37 posts on YT since 2006, and not one is a post offering any tangible advice for repair work... just offers to sell fenders and springs and other parts.
