Did I mess up my diff.?
Hey guys, I'm new to this site(and 4 wheelin) but love it so far!
ok so here what happened. Sunday I swapped in some new front axles into my '87, but like i said I'm new so I installed my hubs in the locked position. My question is do you guys think I messed anything up driving around for two days like that? Please let me know, I'm freaking out.

Yeah you destroyed it, give it to me for a dollar and cut your losses.
Nah, as long as you wernt in 4wd the whole time your fine. You are actually supposed to drive a few miles a months to keep everything lubed up.

dont think you messed anything up but its not a good idea to drive with your hubs locked. that means that your axle is turning constantly with high speeds involved. the only thing that isn't moving is your t-case...if it was only in 2wd

ADD hubs are like locked manual hubs. Wont hurt anything, but wears stuff out after a while.

Check to be sure your hubs will actually unlock before you hit the trail. You are supposed to install manual hubs in the unlocked position.
With the t-case selector in the 2wd position and the hubs set to free, you should be able to spin the cv shafts easily with the front wheels on the ground. If they don't spin, reinstall your hubs.
