Horn not working

About a year ago I was driving one day and I my honked the horn normally. As i used it repeatedly it, slowly faded away until it stopped working.

What I need help with is knowing where to look.
-What is or would be the most likely culprit or where could I start looking?
-Does this sound like my combo switch id finished? if so how do I test it?
-Or is there a wiring diagram that shows where I can re-route wires, or trace them with a new connection, like I did with my headlights when they quit on me?

thanks for your help. Just safety issue that I would like to solve in order to move this truck out as I have bought a new one.
any help is much appreciated.
