OK so I have an 87 4Runner and I just started driving it a few days ago and everything was working fine. Worked earlier today then when I went to drive it this evening the dome light, rear cargo light, dash lights, including climate control, parking lights and tail lights weren't working. Checked the fuses and all were good, after some research I tried replacing the relay and that is not the problem either. My stereo works, same with cigarette lighter and the clock. The weird thing tho is that since I drove it earlier and it all worked the clock has been reset so I don't know if that is related or what. The warning lights in the dash still work too. I don't even know where to start from here, hoping for some suggestions!

Test fuses if possible with a fuse tester or a multi-meter, they don't always blow in a way that you will see the failure.

Which relay did you replace, integration relay? If so when you were in the kick panel you overlooked the ground straps maybe, but they're in the drivers side kick panel right infront of the relay box.

Which fuses did you check, and how did you check them? eg visually fuse swap or fuse tester

Which relay did you replace, and did you test it first?

If your any thing like me

My big clumsy feet sometimes manage to kick the fuse panel and what happens is over the years the sockets the fuses plug into spread a little bit then they don`t make contact.

I would think did you bump something getting into the vehicle if it all was good before.

The ground point will be on the left door post the ground wire is white with a black stripe.

Although with your clock being off sounds like you lost a ground some place.

Are there any other circuits not working??

Was your vehicle parked outside in pouring down rain.

Most often things fail when they are being used not when they are turned off.

A simple multimeter is a great for trouble shooting these issues.

I have never seen a fuse tester so I have no idea how to use one.

HF Fuse circuit tester, not exactly what I was looking for but a handy tool none the less.

I was clued into these devices by an old greybeard after he gave me some slow blow fuses. The cheaper ones basicly do a resistence check, the fancy ones check that the power you put thru them actually arrives.

I've had similar experience with the kick panel, "No my foots not touching the kick panel, uh whats a kick panel *grin* ... This thing *thump thump - door buzzer sounding* Poop i kicked something loose"
