CV issues
OK so Ive had my truck almost a year now and I've always had problem with cvs just never did anything about them and I have decided it is time to fix them. Im gonna tell you the symptoms and you can tell me how to fix
ok, so to start off they are like squikyish rattlish something like that they sound like something loose rattling around.
Every time I turn to park the truck they pop as if they were in 4wd,This is extremely embarrassing lol
During the cold nights in the winter when I leave to go to school in the morning the right one make this god awful grinding noise every rotation until it warms up I guess.
I just described all the problems I have with them if you need some more info just ask ill be glad to give it to you.

Might not all be form the CV joints.
The rattling and grinding when cold could be the front spindle bushings

The noise on turning could just be the steering stops.
Worn CV joints tend to make a clicking noise when turning, sometimes more so in reverse. If you want to replace the CV joints the easiest way is just to buy rebuilt axles. And the spindle bushings are not too expensive so I would replace them while the axles are out. In the write up the entire hub is removed but I did mine with the hub still on the vehicle. If you already have the axles out it's about 30 minutes extra work.

Noisy steering stops are a common problem. When the plastic caps wear out you get metal to metal contact at full lock. If you get the noise all the time with any amount of turning them it probably isn't that.
