Custom light bar?? For a 1st Gen 4runner

I'm not new here just new here, just never made an account for some reason. I want to maybe make a custom light bar for my 1st gen 4Runner. It is completely stock on everything, top have never been off also. but let me know or post pictures of your light bar that you have for the roof like so in the very first picture on this thread. please post how yours is wired how it connects and if there is any way to make a custom for less.

thanks.

That looks like a Carr light bar, they come up for sale periodically.
Or hit Craigslist for a gutter mount roof bar(Thule, Yakima etc). I paid $25 for a set, with locks

it clamps to the rain gutter, so no drilling, but you do have to tighten bolts/screws to mount it, lol. if you want it completly without modding/drilling, then you have to rout the wires through the door jam and wrap the pinchweld to get it inside where you can hide it better behind the trim. if you go this route, i suggest using wires that are flat, like speaker and cheap trailer wires, instead of the thick sheathed wires. you might even get it in behind the trim peice behind the door and use a gromet. you would have to drill a hole, but nobody will ever see it.

i appreciate that AK. thats how i would route it if i get to do it. cause i might be able to find something thatll work. I might later on just buy a roof rack and go that route with lights. also wondering if ones to fit a bronco or blazer would work. wouldnt think so but jw

Most of the ones I've seen are adjustable for different vehicles
