crappy idle when cold outside?

my 90 4runner, sr5 v6,4X4, 5 speed manual, i have an issue once it warms up and it is cold OUTSIDE, it idles terribly, almost shutting off at times. when it is warm outside it idles perfect! kinda weird i thought, whats your thoughts?? spark plugs? cap? rotor? thanks everyone!!

what if if you put some octane boost in it?

Thats true i could prolly do that as well, or atleast try running 89

Starter??

Ok now last night, it was doing the idle thing again, idiling 300-600then 300-600, then the battery light came on and it idles amazing now!! Haha crazy right? Ne who i think that the alternater is bad, mayb it was putting too much of a load on the motor, cause like i said it idles perfect now, so i am ganna test the alternator today, just sounds so crazy that the alternator would make it idle like that..
