Coolant leaking from rear of block Need Help
Hey guys
I noticed a couple days ago a coolant leak out of the back of the motor in my truck(I cannot see exactly where is it leaking from). It's a 3.0L V6 out of a 92 toyota 4x4 pickup. It is coming from the passenger side of the block and all i can see is it trickles down the transmission housing and drips off the side. I have scrubbed all the dirt and grime to try to get a better look but haven't been able to see anything.
I was thinking blown head gasket or cracked block.
Here is what I know:
- There is no coolant in the Oil (Oil is still clean and has been the last week or so i have been checking it daily)
- There is not Oil in the Coolant (Still green and doesnt look like a milkshake)
- Exhaust is not white and does not smell like its burning coolant
Any ideas what this could be? Anything simple I would be missing like a heater core around that that would possible be the cause of the leak?

Most likely the little upside-down "U" hose attached to the coolant outlet (little aluminum platform with about 6 sensors on it - in back center top, above intake manifold and below plenum). The exhaust crossover cooks that little hose. Get it from the dealer.

Behind the back of the plenum did you check your hoses for cracks? The coolant hose runs under the plenum and plugs into an elbow then runs over the back side of your engine next to the fire wall. Check to make sure there is no crack in the hose.

I will definately have to take a look back there today, I did some more investigating yesterday.
Bought a coolant pressure test kit, hooked it up and couldnt the system to leak at 13PSI, and it held there for a couple minutes. I decided to pump it up to 15 PSI and found a small leak in on of the return hoses up front but nothing from the rear of the block.
I then let the motor warm up for around 10-15min and waited and the leak slowly started to trickle again. So the system holds pressure but the kits says not to use with hot liquids (im guessing that means with the coolant system at temperature).
Here is a picture of exactly where is is leaking. The picture is taking from laying under the passenger side door looking towards the rear of the block .

- Green Circle is Slave cylinder?
-Blue Circle is the frame and through the frame would be the front tire
