Welcome to YT!
I have a thread about general diagnosis, search 'general running problem diagnosis'. I cover quite a bit in that thread, and it should give you some ideas.
If you plan to diagnose this yourself, you're going to want some diagnostic tools and a factory service manual (FSM). You used to be able to download a FSM from ncttora.com, but that site has recently changed, so I don't know where it is. With a little searching you should be able to find it. If not, let me know and I can try emailing you at least some relative sections.
Unless you have unlimited money, don't start replacing parts hoping to fix the problem that way.
A little more specifically, I would start by checking the gap and condition of all spark plugs, the resistances and connections on sensors such as TPS, air flow meter sensor, etc. Ignition timing could be off, which could cause this symptom as well. Don't forget the basics of checking compression in each cylinder, valve adjustment, etc.
Good luck, and post any updates or specific questions you might have.
