Coil Problem
I went an got a new coil for my 88 3.0. Got it all together and tested it to make sure power was getin to coil there is power to it from the igniter. When i test the posts on the coil one is suppose to be positive and one negative, well both are positive putting out 12.3v an i still have nothing coming out of the coil to distributor.
Anyone got any ideas, i could really use the help!

Sure, but first tell me what led you to replacing your coil at all.
Did you test primary and secondary resistances of the coil?
How do you know there is no spark to the distributor? Spark plugs? Coil wire?
Have you done anything to your Mass Air Flow Sensor recently or have any reason to believe it could be bad?

Well It wouldnt start at all so i checked to see if i was gettin fuel an i was. So i went to checked to see if i was gettin spark from distrubuter an i wasnt so i went to plugd a spark tester into my coil wire an was no spark going through wire. So i tested power to the igniter and was power to igniter ab power from igniter to coil but nothing coming out of coil. No i didnt test resitence.

Weren't getting spark before and aren't now. So then nothing now is different to suggest that changing the coil had any effect right? That tells me the coil was fine before.
Properly check for spark at spark plugs (i.e. spark tester)
Check your EFI fuse
Check resistance of all spark plug/coil wires (less than 25 ohms)
To be diligent, check your primary and secondary coil resistance (you will need to do a search for the how-to) but I presume it's fine
Check your distributor air gap
Do continuity tests on all wires from dizzy/coil, specifically looking for a bad ground or inappropriate ground.
These are all explained in your basic Haynes manual or shop manual or maybe by googling it. If all that is fine and you are ready to smash your head into the engine block, unplug your mass air flow sensor and see if the car starts for a few seconds then dies. If so, get a new MAF sensor.
