Clutch ticking

When I press my clutch in it starts ticking. Doesn't matter if I'm stopped or moving. Just started yesterday with some really cold weather, could that be it cause I have no idea. Everything still seems to work fine but it's pretty annoying. Any ideas?

When the engine warms up is it still there? I am thinking throw out bearing but it could be a few things. Like clutch plate, pressure plate, pilot bearing. If it gets worst you will need to do a complete clutch job. I would try to make it last the winter. Only because it is cold here. Then again it could be benign and last forever.

Ya even with the engine being warm it still does it. I did a rear main fix acouple months ago and the clutch pack still looked good so I left it. And everything has been running great til this ticking but looks like I'll have to pull the tranny again and check it out.

Sounds like what is happening. Well hopefully it will last so I get some money for a new clutch pack and a nice flywheel. Thanks for the quick replys.
