Clutch start cancel switch removal

Does anyone know where the wires go for the clutch start cancel switch? Would I have to pull my dash apart to remove them all (other than the bottom part of the dash to get the switch out...)?

Thanks!

Remove the clutch actuated switch. Then bridge the unplugged end.

^^^^What he said^^^^. Beat me to it. One of the first things i did to my truck along with gluing down the key release button. Best mods so far. Plus, free is good.

Where's the clutch actuated switch? I've got the clutch start cancel switch removed from my old truck - it plugs into a plug w/ a three wire connector in the dash.

Turns out my new truck has the same plug behind the block off plate - if I'm lucky, the electrical is already there and it just needs the switch to work...which I'll put in in a few minutes...

Thanks!

The clutch switch is down in the pedal assembly. If you go down there and push the clutch pedal in, you can see it hit the white button on the left side of the switch in the picture posted. It it's not there, you can either reinstall that switch or jump the 2 terminals in the connector for your nonexistant clutch switch.

just pull the switch from the dash and jump the plug. Should take about 10 seconds.

Take the switch and send to me. Done

Why would you want to remove that?

It's incredibly handy.

I was thinking the same thing at first and then I saw that he is putting it in another truck, I use mine every morning and I love it.

How do you disconnect the switch from the wiring? I thought it would be your typical electrical "squeeze tabs" to release the Clutch Start Cancel button, but mine wouldn't budge at all.. do you have to cut the wires or something?!

Scroll back on this page and see the foot switch...... Just remove that and then join wires coming out of the floor there....
