clutch problems

Picked up a 87 4runner that had a 89 pickup drivetrain in it. Trans started going on it so i picked up a spare trans/tcase for super cheap. I ordered a Marlin Clutch and while waiting on it to arrive i got an email saying it was back ordered and luckily for me my trans died the same die. So in haste, i run to advance auto and buy a clutch kit and flywheel. Issue here is i bought a w56B where i had a w56c. The throwout bearings looked very similar but the new one had more of a flat front vise the extended center of the old one. The new one hada little more sticking out the backside though. I tried to install the trans and couldn't get closer than 1/2" or so from bolting up. Tried a few different times and even tried to pull it with bolts. Pulled it the 3rd time down and checked over all the parts and realized the throw out issues. I decided to see if the old throw out would work. Sure enough it slid right in. Bolted everything up and now my clutch doesn't fully release. At idle you can hear it spinning and its extremely difficult to get it in any gear.

The spare trans i bought for super cheap was a dud. Its extremely noisy. I'm buying a known good W56c tomorrow and would like to make sure i've got a good throw out bearing to go back in. Can somebody shed some light on the throwout bearings.
