Choking/ gagging issue

I have a 94 toyota pick up and it chokes out while I accelerate. Have just changed the spark plugs, wires and the fuel filter. Have been searching all of the forums for answers. Any answers would be greatly appreciated.

agreed on the thread name lol..

but anyway, that sounds similar to what mine did when i messed up the timing, it would idle fine, and if you accelerated reaaally slowly it was ok, but if you gave it too much gas it almost died.

could also be a fuel pressure problem, or maybe a leak in the intake?

EDIT: oh yeah, tortis could have it too, check the TPS

Maybe there's someone else in the truck, and for some reason, we can't see them.

Just got the truck so am not sure when the o2 sensor was changed, thats what i am thinking it is. Tried to take it to checker to test for codes but none of their attachements fit the diagnostic fitting. Looks to be happening more when its cold. 22re

O2 sensor will not make that kind of problem. When the engine is cold the O2 does not do anything. Sounds like an electrical problem. Did you change your cap and rotor latley? Plug wires?
