Changing water pump??

I had put a post on here a few months back because my truck was leaking water after a headgasket change on a 22re. I was told to check all the hoses and hose clamps and i did that and never fixed it. It has been leaking and i have been just putting water in it every so often. and last night I searched for about an hour and I found that it is the water pump leaking around the housing. I am going to order a new one today. any one have any ideas of how had it is?? ot any Tips for doing it??
