Certifit and Parts train

Well guys im looking to rebuild my truck and Im trying to find some reasonable replacement parts. I was looking into certifit and parts train for fenders and door shells. Does anyone have any advice or suggestions about what I should stay away from or a better place to get replacement parts. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks guys

I used certifit as they have a place about half an hour from my house back when I got in an accident. I used their hood and both front fenders for my 93 pickup. They are thinner metal than oem and not galvanized but for the cost ($25 each on fenders and $45 on the hood) I can't complain. Fit was fine and they look good. 7 months later still in primer form and I still don't have any rust. I'm happy.

if you want to buy aftermarket parts, buying online will cost you some crazy shipping. i would suggest to go to some of the buy here pay here car lots, and see if they can order body parts for you. i did this and payed $30 a piece for fenders. (That is including the dealer charging me 10% for his cut)

Just remember the quality you will experience with aftermarket parts. Thin metal, subpar fitment, and incorrect body lines.

The only real benefit with aftermarket parts is price. They are super cheap. both in price AND quality.

Sorry it took me so long to get back. Im not sure what I am going to do yet. I have been looking for a donor truck that I can steal panels off of. BUt thats not going so good. And for certifit, Im not sure I have mixed feelings so far and as I get feedback. Im really hoping that I can get some used from someone parting out their truck. So are the parts train fenders the same as the certifit. Kind of both not so good other than the price?
Thanks guys

I've used certifit here locally in Denver and can agree, they fit and they are cheap but are made of very thin material. They hold up fine in my experience unless you bash a tree or something. Hard to complain about a $20 fender when it fits fine.
