Ok, before I start ripping things apart, my '95 3.0 auto is giving the following CEL codes 14 and 42, and O/D OFF 42 and 64. Everything is working except for the cruise control. The lights do not come on in the morning when it is cooler, at lease in my 10 mile drive to work they don't. The lights do come on during my drive home when the ambient temperature is up. Sometimes only the CEL comes on sometimes only the O/D OFF comes on sometimes bothe O/D and CELL lights come on.

CEL 14 Igniter signal to ECM missing
CEL 42 Vehicle speed sensor circuit
O/D 42 vehicle speed sensor (in combination meter) - severed wire harness or short circuit
O/D 64 severed lock up circuit or short circuit-severed wire harness or short circuit
