castle nut slipping on pitman arm - relay rod

My 87 4X4 pitman arm is wobbling at the relay rod - not at the bj (ball joint). The castle nut is rusted solid to the bj bolt. When I try to tighten or loosen the nut, the bj bolt spins with it.

I've tried pressing the pitman arm to the relay rod (jacking and clamping) with no luck.

My next step is split the castle nut, pull the pitman arm, inspect the relay rod and maybe replace both.

I'd rather just tighten the castle nut and be done with it. Anyone ever had this problem before?
