Cabin Light - Sensor?
I have a 92 regular cab 4x4 22re. The cabin light can be set to off/on/door. I installed a radio recently. When set to "door" the light does not come on when I open the driver side door. It DOES work when I open the passenger side door.
I'm figuring I messed up a wire or disconnected something on accident. Anyone know what triggers that light to come on and how to find a wire/fuse/whatever that controls it?
Thanks,
Greg
PS. I found these posts (through google search), but wasn't an unplugged thing.

Thanks OCdropzone....I'll look through that FSM.
I'm guessing you were a paratrooper? I was in the 1/508th PIR 89-90, air assualt with the 3/187th (101st) 91-92, then 160th LRSD (CA national guard) 92-02

Thanks guys, I should've been clearer....it worked before I installed the new radio and now it doesn't, meaning immediately after I finished (probably not more than 15 minutes) I noticed it didn't work. It could still be the white nipple door jam switch I guess, it would just be highly coincidental. Going to troubleshoot tonight.
Cool, LRSD guys are rare and are becoming even more rare. I recently heard my former unit was disbanded and they were absorbed by the cavalry scouts (no jump status) because they were considered "OBSOLETE" with the new predator drones. I don't know, there's nothing like boots on the ground...planes can't tell how deep the mud is or a river crossing for that matter...maybe they'll rely more on the battalion level recon guys.
