A/C help

OK guys I need some ideas for my a/c problems. First off charged it up and cooled ok. Started blowing hot one day. Since then I have cleaned evap, replaced expansion valve, replaced cut-out switch, replaced all o-rings, installed manual shut off in heater hose to heater core. I found that the compressor was leaking from the front at the clutch so I replaced all gaskets and seals in the compressor. Fixed the leaks but can't get the clutch to engage and disengage correctly. Now with the compressor running and 2 cans of freon it still blows hot and the clutch drags when it's supposed to be off. Any ideas I'm getting a little fed up working on this thing until midnight every night. Thanks.
