Bumper Vote Please

Wife and I went to the junkyard today (she is so cool!) and I got this bumper off a earlier model truck and the grille out of a newer truck (still need a driver side headlight ring) and put them both on this evening, original was bent but I'm still not sold on how it looks and neither is my wife. What do you all think?

The tube bumper would look better if it was lifted in place to fill the gap under the grill/headlights.

Hmm, looks like a nice bumper but I think its needs to be moved up so it vertically is closer to your headlights. A bracket maybe ? The grill makes the Truck look a couple years newer .

dang, good day of salvaging!

X's 2 on the bumper thing

I'm considering getting a newer style grill fer my 91; that one little thing makes the truck look so much more up to date

I say keep the smittybilt but use your old grille. I much prefer that older style look, wish my truck had that grille

Thanks for all your input, I do like the grille, if I lifted the bumper up what should I do for the area under it? The body lift really leaves a gap.

I don't like that bumper on your truck. You should give it to me.

I'm sure it will look fine if you get brackets to compensate for the body lift.

i think that bumper would look sick with a few lights on it. I say keep it, and do the brackets to lift it up.

Our marriage or sister's? Both are doing just fine LOL. The bumper is in place of the original, and I haven't had time to make brackets to lift it up. There is a few Toyotas in the yard I went to, still need to go back and get more parts.
