Bumper compatibility
i will be buying a new bumper soon. i am going to buy an ARB bumper...however i dont want the one they make for the 90-95, i want a sahara bumper, but i dont know how well the 3rd gen bumper fits.
I can make one from a 3rd gen 4runner fit, but i wonder if there is a close match.
Any help would be great.

Well I dont know exactly how the ones for the second gen runners fit, never seen an arb for those years..
What I do know, Is the 3rd gen bumper has the frame part come out like 2 arms, and the bumper has full box sleeves that fit over the frame rails. IMO it wouldnt work, the bumper mounting is totally different, but in the world of off road/fab anything is possible

True that, i am going to talk to a friend down here who put a 97 4runner bumper on his 90 4runner. see what was done. But i think it could be done. and when i get wider fenders the width should not be to different.
