Broken wire between fuel filter and oil filter...What's it to?!? SEE PICS

Hey, I was replacing my head gasket and timing chain and in the process snapped a wire off the main wire harness and can't figure out where it goes or where the other section of wire went. It's on the main wire harness and is situated between the fuel filter and the oil filter below the EFI unit. Check the pics......Does this need to be reconnected??

I think it might be the wire that goes to the oil pressure sending unit, should be a sensor right around the oil filter somehwere.

Maybe to knock sensor, which is just to left (toward back) of oil filter. Oil press sender is below oil filter.

That's the kind of question that opens the proverbial can of debate worms. You'll get a lot of opinions on that matter. A quick YT search will give you some clue.

Toyota, WIX, Amsoil, Mobil1, and more. I use WIX. They're reputably good, quality filters with the anti-drainback valve. And, they're relatively inexpensive and doesn't require a trip to the dealership.

Hard for me to tell from the pic what the wire is. A broader view would help to exactify.
