Bogging Down

Hey there everyone. I've got a 92 Pickup 3.0 Automatic. I bought it real cheap and I've been fixing a few things on it. One problem I'm still having is that every now and then after stopping at a stop sign or something when I try to accelerate it goes normally until about 15 MPH or so and then it just bogs down. It doesn't matter how much I push the accelerator it is like there is no gas getting through. It seems like the motor tries to build RPMs like it would if accelerating normally but the speed will barely climb. Then usually the next time I stop at the next stop sign and start to accelerate again it goes normally. Any ideas? I had another vehicle that acted like this a few years ago and it ended up being that the catalytic converter was plugged but this truck doesn't have one. And I replaced the fuel filter recently? Is it possible I just need to do that again?
