body lift for an auto??

I really can't afford the prices of a suspension lift and have heard there is ways to put a body lift on with only minor adjustments. Can anybody help me out and tell me how to do this is a "how to put a body lift of an auto for dummies" way?? pictures or anything would be greatly appreciated thanks!

Did you not read the link?

Depending on which BL (1"-3") you go with you would need additional things. Here is the specific link about it: http://www.4crawler.com/4x4/ForSale/BodyLiftKit.shtml

AFAIK, 4crawler sells the only auto transmission solution for a body lift. Just read the links. It will answer all of your questions.

and may I add, 4Crawler doesn't in any way shape nor form offer a body lift for my 91 automatic truck.

No one has a kit for column shifts.

I never seen your body style with a column shift AND 4wd. My 89 has a 3 inch body lift by Trailmaster. It came with the shifter spacer but I had to lengthen my 4wd lever but other than that, it was a direct bolt on. I bought it from a member here. Actually when I lifted my 87 2wd truck, that was a Trailmaster as well. It came with all the necessary pieces as well.

either and or... automatic. there were column shifts made, and for some reason, no one has deemed column shifts worthy of a body lift.
however you want to look at it, if it's the same auto trans, but one is floor and the other is column.... what's the difference?

so I'm going to engineer my own.

she already knows no one makes a body lift for her truck...
...and knows she's gonna get a raise when I can afford it.
